Environmental Initiative on Earth Day at Pliva Lakes
Sustainability in Practice – April 24, 2026
On the occasion of Earth Day on April 22, the Brock Gruppe carried out a voluntary environmental clean-up initiative at its production site in Jajce, Bosnia, focusing on the Pliva Lakes. The commitment and initiative shown by the employees of Jajce Alloy Wheels highlight the central role of the Jajce location as an integral part of the company’s structure.
As part of the initiative, solid waste – particularly plastics and other debris – was systematically removed from the shoreline areas as well as from the water surface. The activity was supported by the Rafting Club Jajce, the company Transmineral, which organized logistics and waste disposal, and the Handball Club Jajce, whose members joined the effort during the course of the day.
Over several hours, multiple containers of waste were collected and properly disposed of. The initiative represents a tangible contribution to reducing environmental pollution and directly supports the company’s ecological objectives.
This initiative is part of the ongoing ESG (Environmental, Social, Governance) activities of the Brock Group. Such and similar measures are carried out on a regular basis to ensure that sustainability is not only reflected in production standards but is also anchored through concrete, recurring actions within the local communities surrounding the company’s sites. Comparable initiatives have already been implemented in the past to further strengthen both environmental responsibility and social engagement.
As a group clearly committed to “Made in Europe,” the Brock Group follows a holistic approach: resource-efficient production, long-lasting product quality, and active regional engagement are closely interconnected. The environmental initiative at the Pliva Lakes once again demonstrates how corporate responsibility is implemented in a consistent and practical manner.
